"Dr. Kaye is fantastic! I have been to other chiropractors where I just feel like a person on an assembly line and my visit with the chiropractor is in and out and very quick. Dr. Kaye takes his time during every session and goes above and beyond. I always leave his office with a smile on my face-- because of both the great body work he performs and his sense of humor!"

"I became a patient of Dr. Chris Johnson over a decade ago when my primary physician could no longer help with my chronic back pain/spasms and prescribed chiropractic therapy. I tried the recommended chiropractic clinic for a time- but as nice of person as the Dr. was, his techniques perpetually threw me into deeper back spasms- so I gave up in angst and resigned myself to a life of managed pain and spasm. I later discussed my angst with my mother and she couldn't rave enough about the magic Dr. Chris performed in improving her life quality, and the rest is history as Dr. Chris also changed my life immeasurably for the better. Following his plan for weekly adjustments and recommendations for overall health, my back pain and spasms are overall nearly non-existent, and I am the healthiest I have ever been.
I owe much to Dr. Chris.
Thank You."

"I have been a patient at CHA now for a couple of years. I have been going to chiropractors practically my entire life after being kicked in the face by a horse at 14 years old and then in a bad car accident when I was 19 years old where my head went through the windshield. As you can imagine, the trauma to my head and neck from those incidents caused ongoing symptoms such as horrible headaches, shoulder and back pain, etc. and Chiropractors have been an instrumental part of my pain management over the years. However, I was never given any supplemental PT exercises or any other options to improve my symptoms outside of being adjusted. When I started seeing Dr. Johnson at CHA a couple of years ago, he immediately started giving me PT, strength and other "homework" to do to help with my various issues. It has been extremely helpful and resolved a lot of my pain and I am really grateful. For most of my life, I was unable to tolerate manual adjustments in my neck and lower back as it was to painful but Dr. Johnson has such a gentle, slow and calculated way of adjusting those areas that I am now able to tolerate it for a much more successful adjustment. I am also a long distance runner (albeit a slow one lol) and Dr. Johnson, Dr. Kaye and the team at CHA have kept me running through IT Band issues, Achilles and foot issues. Everyone at CHA is always very friendly, helpful and caring and I highly recommend them for all of your chiropractic care!"

The healthcare profession of chiropractic aims to preserve and restore your health through the structure of your body. Primarily with through position of the spine and its function as controlled by the nervous system.
Chiropractic focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems, and related health effects.
Yes! Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.
The Association of Chiropractic Colleges recognizes that Chiropractic care emphasizes the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs and surgery.
In a chiropractic adjustment, the Chiropractor aims to correct spinal subluxations.
Our Chiropractor's use their hands to apply pressure to the bone and spinal joint in a sudden, but controlled force known as a "high velocity, low amplitude thrust". This will promote proper joint motion and function while improving the previously misaligned position. Once that has been done, the Chiropractor is now able to correctly align the spine and free any nerves that may have been pinched.
Also known as “spinal manipulation,” these help to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become hypomobile – or restricted in their movement – as a result of a tissue injury. Tissue injury can be caused by a single traumatic event, such as improper lifting of a heavy object, or through repetitive stresses, such as sitting in an awkward position with poor spinal posture for an extended period of time. In either case, injured tissues undergo physical and chemical changes that can cause inflammation, pain, and diminished function for the sufferer. Manipulation, or adjustment of the affected joint and tissues, restores mobility, thereby alleviating pain and muscle tightness, and allowing tissues to heal.

Chiropractic adjustment rarely causes discomfort. However, patients may sometimes experience mild soreness or aching following treatment (as with some forms of exercise) that usually resolves within 12 to 48 hours.
Doctors of Chiropractic – often referred to as chiropractors or chiropractic physicians – practice a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment. Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling.
